Finding Farm raised organic meats that have no anti-biotics,or hormones for sale can be a difficult task as I have found. I was fortunate enough to find in an online ad, someone selling half a
pig butchered, vacuum sealed and frozen per your order sheet so know your pork cuts. I was intrigued by the ad enough that I contacted the woman immediately, and began asking question about the pig.

| I went out that weekend saw the pigs and the farm, it was a very nice small family farm , it was on 2 or so acres that I could see. I paid the farmer right then and there for the product I wouldnt pick up for 2 or 3 months, not at there request, I just wanted to make sure they had the money for anything they would need.

After buying 2 or 3 half pigs I inquired about the cows and if

| they were going to be bringing them to the butcher and sure enough when it was time I purchased half a cow vacuum sealed and frozen so know your beef cuts. When I tell you there is no better taste then fresh beef every single "gourmet" Restaurant should by buying straight from the farmer.

Feeding a family of 5 with 3 growing boys means I need to find a steady supply of grass fed organic beef and pork. Finding a local farm is crucial and means I also have access to fresh vegetables right from the ground.
I moved out to Central Ma. and was searching and searching for somewhere to buy local organic meat for 8 months.

| I saw many farms with cattle just no where to buy grass fed organic meat from them, when I was driving home one afternoon coming up RT68 north, as soon as I got into gardner on the right I saw a sign that said buy grass feed beef.

I made a trip with the family that weekend and found a nice farm stand on the left up a secondary drive, The farm is called Anderson Farm and you can purchase grass fed organic meat and vegetables and other nice nick naks at there small general store.
I love supporting local farms and farmers not only do you get the freshest vegetables and meats but you get to know the family, and see the animals. I think it makes the meat taste better.
